They also include documents, books and works of art. The collections depict deaf education, organizational activities, prominent persons in the community, sign language, and the work that the community has done to strengthen its own status and to achieve equality.

The collections cover a period from the late 18th century to the present day and are nowadays part of the collections of the Labour Museum Werstas.

In the future the collections can be found in the WebPortal finna.fi. All the collections are not online yet, but such material is increasing gradually as digitalization progresses. In finna.fi one can also order copies of old photographs. In order to find info about the collections one can also contact the museum personally.
